Cattery Services

Holidays are a thing of the past for some cat breeders, who do not have family or friends to help. You do not want to put your precious cats into a boarding cattery, and although House Sitting services are available, you want someone who is an experienced breeder to look after your cats whilst you are away.

Breeding Cattery Sitting

We are offering a specialist Breeding Cattery Sitting service - to 'live in' at your cattery, and look after your cats and kittens whilst you have a well-earned break.

Our charges are:

  • £50 per day for up to 5 cats, and £7 per adult cat per day for additional cats, up to a maximum of 20 cats.
  • Catteries with over 20 cats will be considered where an existing cattery assistant is available to help.
(Please call us to discuss requirements.)
  • Litters of kittens are charged at £10 per day per litter.
(Note that hand rearing is an additional charge.)

The basic charge covers day-to-day pen cleaning, litter clearing, grooming, feeding, playing, socialising kittens, checking/managing matings, medicating, responding to customer telephone and/or email enquiries, accompanying pre-booked customer visits.

Additional charges will apply for:

  • Mileage charged at 25p per mile
  • Birthing: - please telephone to discuss requirements
  • Vets visits: £10.00 per visit plus mileage (owner to pay vets fees)
  • Microchipping: £10.00 per cat (includes cost of microchips and registration with Petlog)
  • Deep Clean/disinfect of pens & litter trays: £10 per pen (inc. change/washing dirty bedding, cleaning/disinfecting pens and litter trays)

If there are other things you need, such as feeding the dog, taking it out for it's daily walk, etc., then give us a call and we will consider your needs.

All food, litter, disinfectants, medication and any other consumables to be supplied by the owner.

Breeding Cattery Management

If you already have cattery assistants who will do some of the work whilst you are on holiday, but you would like a 'Cattery Manager' to be on site during your absence, then give us a call to discuss your requirements.

Hand Rearing Assistance

Kittens in hand

What do you do when your litter is born and, for some reason, the queen is unable to feed them? It's fine if you have another queen who can foster them, but if not, it is an exhausting job to hand rear a litter, and can be impossible without help.

Don’t risk losing kittens because you have to go out to work, or have other commitments that mean you cannot be on hand 24 hours a day to hand rear your litter.

We are experienced at hand rearing kittens, and are available to provide the help you need.

We can either bring the litter back to our own cattery, or we can ‘live in’ with you and provide an extra pair of hands to lighten the task.

You can contact us by email or telephone to discuss your requirements. We appreciate that this is often an ‘emergency’ situation, and will do everything we can to be with you as soon as possible.
